PRODUCTION
The challenge of any school teaching traditional, hand-drawn animation is to ensure that students graduates find meaningful work at the end of their studies. Consequently the objective of the 2D ACADEMY is to create a production entity that will not only utilize the talents of their own students, but provide a incubator for the ideas and projects that the emerging students want to pursue themselves. As a result the 2D ACADEMY, via its DRAWASSIC production studio, will pursue high-end commercial projects that will employ emerging students, as well as seek funding and sponsorships for in-house developments that will enable the students to create their own projects too. Below are just some of the recent projects initiated by Tony White that have used young supportive talent wherever possible - or else hope to take advantage of outside investment that will ensure graduates will gain industry experience. Anyone with planned animation projects that can be produced by 2D ACADEMY students and instructors - or have investment interests in our home grown movie-length concepts - should contact us at [email protected]. It would mean so much for the 2D ACADEMY and it's students in wanting to see ground breaking, traditionally animated productions emerging out of America once again!
